loved one. Designer Michael White has over 40 years
experience in the design and creation of beautiful hand made pieces
which bring delight to the owner and are a joy to wear.
Velvet has timeless gifts for
everybody, from christenings to engagements and weddings, we can find
something to suit every purse.
Velvet holds a beautiful range
of Opals from Australia's Lightning Ridge, many
are exquisite pieces created exclusively by designer Leisha
Wheeler.

Velvet presents a selection
of unusual stones often combined together in handmade designs to
create sophisticated jewellery with universal appeal, including
Amber in rich cognacs or milky whites and greens, Turquoise, Blue John
from the Derbyshire mines and Agates in rainbow colours.
Leather goods
including a handbag collection with matching accessories, and a
range to suit the man in your life. Handcut crystal glass perfume
bottles, compact mirrors, trinket boxes, frames and pewterware
all in the highest quality make giving a gift a joy.
We also offer a
quality repair service for jewellery including remodelling and
alterations to your own pieces, clock and watch repairs and
re-stringing of pearls and beads. A valuation service is also
available.
